The most financially rich Conference, the Big Ten wants to add to its presence on the East Coast in a bigger way. At present the Conference is securing signage inside and outside of Madison Square Garden, in addition it announced recently that the Conference's basketball tournament will be held in the Garden in 2018.
The Big Ten is well run, its TV network is successful and it is in great financial shape, but continues outside of the box moves.
