Crawford's Golf Daily, For April 27th, 2014

Joe Buck and Greg Norman--- As a golf and sports TV fan, were you excited to learn this week that Joe Buck and Greg Norman will be the lead announcers for Fox's USGA golf coverage beginning in 2015. After a long run by NBC, Fox Sports takes over the USGA telecasts in 2015.

Buck of course is great at whatever he does, so it should be smooth for him. As for Norman, it will be interesting to see how he does. Known to be outspoken and telecasting events that are run by a very conservative organization, the United State Golf Association, just how much leeway he gets, will be interesting to watch and hear.

Fox Sports plans to telecast four USGA events in 2015, besides the U.S. Open, the U.S. Men's Amateur, the Senior Open and U.S. Women's Open. Of course their very first telecast will be from Chambers Bay in June of 2015.

What do you think about all of this? Do you like Norman as a choice, or would you rather see someone else doing the work?
