Urban Meyer and many people in the Ohio State athletic administration, want an NCAA rule changed. He would like to see the NCAA and/or schools be able to help pay for the costs of families of players who are playing in the College Football Playoff to attend the game. At present the rules prevent schools from assisting families.
As the NCAA always moves slowly and this would be a major rule change for them, it might take awhile, as the first order of business might be what constitutes family?
